She has blue open and close rocker eyes, and retains a good amount of her eyelashes. She also has painted eyelashes. They often did both in the late 1800’s early 1900’s. She has a short brown mohair wig, and ruby red cheeks. Her lips match those ruby cheeks, they are slightly parted and she shows two front teeth. She’s wearing a beautiful white christening dress and bonnet. She has on a full bodied slip and bloomers, all matching. A perfect outfit for a baby from 1907. The shoes she wears are more modern Although old, they are from the 1950’s. Her original shoes Disintegrated long ago. The composition body is in good shape for its age no major cracks or chunks missing, although it shows minor crazing throughout its patina. The doll is completely original. The outfit, although antique ,was added at a later date, which is quite common with dolls of this age. Many of these dolls were sold only in their bloomers expecting the purchasing family to dress them. The dress she is wearing is handmade, and fits the doll perfectly.
