This is a beautiful handmade cloth and felt Hungarian Doll. She was made and purchased in Hungary, and still retains her original price tag. She was brought back in 1952, so I assume she was made sometime in the late 1940’s. She sits on top of her own chair that is completely covered by her skirt. Giving the illusion that she is standing. She is in a traditional Hungarian costume with a beautifully embroidered apron. She has what looks to be a large comb that matches her outfit on top of her head. She has a felt face a dark brown eyes that glance downward. Her expression is very demure. She is in excellent condition. All her colors are still vibrant from her rosy cheeks to the embroidery on her apron. She wears a flowered multicolored dress with puffed sleeves, a black apron with embroidered flowers, and a pair of black leather boots on her feet. Her chair is very simply cut wood, given to her so she can stand alone with no stand. She has reddish brown hair which I did not fix before her picture, lol. A great addition to any international doll collection. Shipping is free on this item.
