1930’s Joao Perotti’s Carmen Miranda

This is a Beautiful Brazilian All Cloth Felt Carmen Miranda Doll by Joao Perotti from San Paulo Brazil. She has a lovely painted face; brown side glancing eyes, and wears the traditional hat with pieces of fruit and flowers. Joao Perotti was one of the original Lenci artists and doll makers in Italy before he retired to Brazil where he made this incredible doll.This doll is near perfect. Her coloring superb. Her only flaw is a few small holes along the stitch lines of her legs. I have taken pictures of these so please look at the pictures carefully.
